I started seeing amazing results…
I have been weight training since 2003 with various trainers however, only after I began training with Shirley in April this year, did I finally start seeing amazing results.
To complicate my perfect training routine, I relocated in August and I have begun online training with Shirley. I see Shirley once a month and communicate with her via email informing her of my progress and any hurdles that I face. I get a body composition report done with a dietician once a month. This monitors my progress. After one month, my body fat reduced by 0,7 %, my body lean weight has increased by 0,6 % and my lean weight to fat ratio has increased by 0,1 %. Online training is very challenging and also being a vegetarian I encounter periods where I find I am stagnant. There are times when I don’t want to go to gym but I focus on my goal and drag myself to gym. I have to constantly motivate myself as it is quite intimidating training under no supervision in a “big” gym filled with experienced body builders.
I sometimes feel ridiculous doing plies and jump squats in the middle of the gym but I focus on my goal of achieving a toned and slim figure and that is what motivates me to push myself beyond limits.
Training alone has taught me discipline and perseverance. Being a vegetarian makes weight loss and toning even more difficult. With the help of Shirley and my dietician, we fine tune my diet by trial and error. If you want to achieve a goal you have to make sacrifices and stay focused despite the challenges that arise.
